GRAMMAR SCHOOL OLD BOY WEDS AT ST. ANNE'S

A FORMER pupil of Ormskirk Grammar School, Mr. Maximilian Pimbley, son of Mr. and Mrs. Maximilian Pimbley of 24 Stanley Street, Omrskirk, was married at St. Anne's R.C. Church, Ormskirk, recently.

His bride was Miss Patricia Coleman, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Coleman of 5 Queen Street, Ormskirk.

The Rev. Father Walter O.S.B. officiated.

Given away by her father, the bride wore a full-length diamonte and pearl trimmed white velvet gown, with lace sleeves, falling into a long train. Her bouffant veil was held in place with a diamonte and pearl trimmed lace pill box and she carried a bouquet of gold roses, lily of the valley and hyacinth pips.

The bridesmaids were Miss Christine Coleman, sister of the bride, and Miss Maureen Howes, cousin of the bride. The bridegroon's niece, Miss Carol Bullen, was the small attendant.

They wore full-length straight dresses of red velvet with long sleeves. The bridesmaids carried bouquets of cream tulips and hyacinth pips and the small attendant carried a basket of lemon tulips and cream hyacunth pips.

Mr. Derek Bullen was the best man and Mr. John Pimbley. Mr. Bernard Sweeney, Mr. Charles Brady and Mr. J. Martland, acted as groomsmen.

To receive the guests at a reception, held at Green Lane Hall, the bride's mother wore a French navy dress and coat, white accessories and a spray of pink carnations.

The bridegroom's mother chose a chocolate brown three-piece suit, beige accessories and a spray of freesia.

Following the reception, the couple left for their honeymoon, the bride travelling in a blue suit with navy suede accessories.
