Wedding at Kingston
A large congregation witnessed the wedding of Mr. Robert Ferguson, R.G.A, only son of the late Mr. Robert ferguson, and of Mrs Walter Wakefield, of Southsea, with Miss Edith Littlefield, of Fratton which took place this afternoon in the Portsea Parish Church, the Rev. J. P. Hallet (curate), officiating. The bride, who was given away by her father, was prettily attired in finest white embroidered voile, over white taffetas, the skirt consisting of two deep flounces, finished at the waist by a swaithed satin ceinture. The bodice was ? draped and arranged with ? collar and wrist frill of shadow lace. An embroidered tulle veil was worn ? effect, with wreath of orange blossom, and she carried a shower bouquet of ? heather, roses and carnations. The bridesmaids were Misses Ivy Littlefield and Muriel Twine, cousins of the bride, in ? frocks of saxe blue crepe de soie, in ? effect, relived with white lace and sleeves, and satin waistbelts in the same tone of blue. They also wore blue ? hats with streamers en accord and ? pink flowers, and carried bouquets of pink carnations, and wore bangles, the gift of the bridegroom, whose best man Mr. Harold Bathelor. The rception was held at the roseberry Hall, and was hugely attended. The bridegroom's mother? ? in black soft satin relived ? white and hat with ostrich feathers ? The honeymoon will be ? at Brighton, and when the bride ? away she was dressed in Navy blue costume and a velvet hat with pale pink flowers. The wedding presents included a ? from the officers' and men R.G.A. (Southsea Castle).

Funeral service 1.45 p.m. Tuesday, 12th August, St Mary's Chapel of Rest, 183 Kinston Road. With God at rest after so much pain.
