LATE MR. A. LITTLEFIELD

A well-known business man, Mr. Albert Littlefield, who died at his residence on Monday, was buried yesterday at Kingston Cemetery. Mr. Littlefield who was a native of Portsmouth, started his career in the Construction Department, H.M. Dockyard, which he left in 1892 to devote his energies to the building up of the blind and awning manufacturing business, which was founded by his late father in 1837. Principal mourners were Mr. A. F. Littlefield (son), Mr, G. Littlefield (brother), Messrs. R. Cluett, S. Hill and C Twine (nephews). Messrs, J. Jocelyn, A. Milligan, C. Hills and G. Clark (brothers-in-law). The firm was represented by Mr. H. Cockram. A service in St Luke's Church was conducted by the Rev. Canon H. Davis, with Mr. J. H. Jackson at the organ.
